ABOUT

In 2010, Bro. Dwight Bowman Sr. had a vision that barriers of fellowship would be removed from our Apostolic churches and proceeded to create the Apostolic Unity Service. This annual unity service was originally design to bridge the gap between the UPCI and the PAW, but has since expanded to sister organizations within the state of Michigan.

This unity service has since continued to grow under the leadership of Bro. Dwight Bowman II and has changed the lives of many. Relationships amongst other saints have strengthen as well as one's relationship with God. It is our hope that this movement continues on not just in the state of Michigan, but around the country for generations to come.

Meet Our Team

Director

Dwight Bowman II

Dwight is a 5th generation Pentecostal who was raised in the Pentecostal Assembly of the World Inc, later to transition to the United Pentecostal Church International. He attends The Pentecostal in Kentwood, Michigan where he is an active member of the Leadership team, music ministry, and assists with organizing Special Event services. Dwight has been a key member of the Unity team since its inception in 2010. He was later appointed as Director by his Father, Dwight Bowman Sr. in 2015

Secretary

Bradley Porter

Bradley is a 2nd generation Apostolic Pentecostal who grew up in the United Pentecostal Church International organization. He attends Cornerstone Church in Portage, Michigan where he is the Children’s Pastor. Bradley is also on the teaching rotation for both midweek Wisdom University and midweek Bible Study for Elevate Student Ministries at Cornerstone Church.

Executive Administrator

Elaine Porter

Elaine is a first generation Apostolic Pentecostal. Alongside her husband Brad, Elaine serves in many different capacities within the church. Brad and Elaine were installed as Children's Pastors in October of 2019. She is a leader of a Growth Group and also volunteers on the Event Set-Up Team at Cornerstone Church.

Promotional Director

Amanda Anaya

Amanda is a 4th generation Pentecostal who has roots in the Apostolic Assembly of the Faith In Christ Jesus, later to transition to the United Pentecostal Church International. She attends Cornerstone Church in Portage, Michigan where she is an active member of the Youth leadership team and the Children's ministry. Amanda also assists with Administrative tasks and the Summer Internship program at Cornerstone Church.

Committee Member

Angelita Herrera

Angelita attends Nueva Vida church (Apostolic Assembly of the Faith in Christ Jesus) in Muskegon, MI. At her local church she is a Sunday School teacher, helps with the Children's ministry, and sings on the praise team. She is the Youth President as well. Angelita is also the Secretary of the Great Lakes District Youth Team.

Committee Member

Tony Thomas

Tony attends Christ Temple Church (Pentecostal Assemblies of the World Inc.) in Kalamazoo, Michigan. At his church he assists the Ministerial and Pastoral teams with various duties. He also helps as a personal usher to guest speakers.
